Pack Light

Choose comfortable shoes with good grip for muddy, wet and slippery jungle trails. Shoes that are already broken in are best.

Bring insect repellent and lightweight, breathable clothing. Long trousers and a light long-sleeved shirt can offer extra protection in the rainforest.

Tropical rain can arrive quickly. A dry bag or waterproof cover helps protect your phone, camera, documents and other valuables.

Bring only what you really need. Quick-drying clothes, a small towel and a change of clothes are practical in the humid rainforest.
